Colne Valley & Braintree 1887 One Inch Sheet 223 by John Marriage

This map covers the area of Essex from Wethersfield eastward to Lexden, and from Castle Hedingham southward to Kelvedon. A small portion of Suffolk, around Nayland, is in the top right corner. Essex towns include Braintree, Coggeshall and Halstead, but this is really an area of villages.

Windsor Forest & District 1887 One Inch Sheet 269 by Christopher Board
The map is split between four counties: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Middlesex. On the reverse we include an extract from Middlesex Sheet 19.11, showing Stanwell in 1894, complete with directory.

Note that Edgbaston cricket ground is not on this map. Directory extracts are included on the reverse. The eastern part of Harborne is also shown, as is the Calthorpe Fields area. The 1887 version is fully coloured, taken from the beautiful 1st Edition OS handcoloured map.
