Bacon’s Cycling and Motoring Folding Map of South Wales 1/2″ with index c.1901 This is a good copy of Bacon’s Cycling and Motoring Folding Map, with Index, of South Wales. This map was published by G W Bacon & Co. London c.1891. It was designed for Cyclists and Motorists of the time, it is pocket sized on cloth in a stiff card cover, together with index. The map and cover are in good condition with age discolouration on folds and edges of map; the paper index has become partly detached at the staples which are rusty. The cover has bumped corners and wear of age. Dimensions 18cm x 10.5cm. Please see photos for condition.
