The product is a very rare long view London bankside 1647 publication from the London Topographical Society in 1970. Created by Wenceslaus Hollar, this city map features a detailed depiction of London’s cityscape. Measuring 25×19 inches, this sheet 4 publication is a rare valuable and historical reference for anyone interested in the geography and history of London.☆☆☆☆ It needs a good pressing to flatten out and a small amount of restoration work to put on a acid free canvas and framed☆☆☆☆!!!!!!!
This is a vintage full colour map of London from Georgraphia.It is a fold-out paper map. We are uncertain of its exact publication date but we believe it to be around the 1970s. It has an index of street names on the reverse and a mini map of the London Underground attached to the card outer cover – see photos. It is drawn at a scale of six inches to a mile. Opened out it measures approx 39×27 inches in size. The outer cover is laminated for a wipe clean effect. It has been well used and shows signs of its age and previous handling but it is overall in fairly good condition for its age. Please see photos for further assessment of condition.
