Vintage half-inch folding maps published in 1968 by Bartholomew as a promotion for the pharmaceutical company Colofac. They feature four distinct areas in the South West of England – Cornwall, North and South Devon, and Dorset. Each one shows a huge amount of detail.
This is Sheet No. 3 covering North Devon and surrounding areas including Barnstaple, Ilfracombe, Exeter, Tiverton and parts of the West Country. She was an air hostess in the 1940s and 50s, travelling the world and bringing back unique pieces from every corner ✈️.
Bartholomew Tourist Route Map: North England (1984) Scale – 1: 570,240 • 9 miles to 1 inch This map is in fairly good condition for its year with no pen, pencil marks, highlighting or tears. There’s wear along the folds and slight creasing near the folds and on the edges. The cover has slight discolouration, surface wear creasing on both sides, mainly along the edges and corners.
