Author:Pratt, Derrick. Book Binding:Sheet map, folded. All of our paper waste is recycled within the UK and turned into corrugated cardboard. We all like the idea of saving a bit of cash, so when we found out how many good quality used products are out there – we just had to let you know!
This detailed map continues our coverage of the Rhondda Valley. It covers the northern part of Llwynypia, and coverage stretches from Llwynypia Colliery (at the foot of the map) northward to Tyntyla Isolation Hospital and north-east to St David’s church, Tylorstown.
Coverage stretches from Red Wharf Bay (including Red Wharf station) eastward to Llandudno and Llandudno Junction. Other towns shown are Beaumaris, Conway and Penmaenmawr. Inevitably, rather a lot of the map is sea (the map only goes as far south as Beaumaris), but we provide added interest on the back by providing an extract from Anglesey Sheet 15.13, for Beaumaris in 1913, including its great castle.
This very detailed map covers the small town of Cowbridge. We include a directory of Cowbridge in 1906 on the reverse.
Coverage stretches from Usk (in the top left corner) eastward to Thornbury and southward to Redwick and Almonsbury. The Severn Tunnel area is included together with a good stretch of the Severn Estuary.
Points of interest include St Cadvans Church, Gas Works, two schools and the Baptist Chapel. Other features include Kings Station and just off College Green there is the Market Hall. A good stretch of the Tal-y-llyn Railway is shown, including Pen-dre station.
This detailed map is double-sided for maximum coverage. The main map shows the actual town in detail, with coverage extending eastward to Nant Stigallt Reservoir and southward to Pen-Rhyd-Lyniog.
