The map shows all the fixed fortification structures in Poland known to the authors, built from the modern period up to 1945. Since it would be impossible to represent all field fortifications (military) in a similar way, we have limited ourselves to displaying only selected examples, such as planned, reinforced, particularly well-preserved ones, or those considered significant for other reasons.
