Listed here is copy of the 1980 edition of Rand McNally's The New International Atlas. This book was owned by an international sales employee at the steam turbine division of Dresser-Rand during the 1980s and 1990s. We sold small to medium stream turbines to customers around the globe in those days. One notable feature: "A complete listing of all geographic features and their abbreviations used on the maps, indicating the definition of the term in each of the four major languages of the atlas (English, German, Spanish, and French)." Condition is described in the condition section but, again, the book is musty smelling. There are many of these available so it wouldn't be a crime to mark up the many beautiful maps or even remove them for other purposes, such as décor, education, etc. Please see the photos for condition, table of contents, and some contents.
