Mark & Lee’s New Large Scale Motoring, Touring, Hunting and Driving Road Map of Aylesbury. Mark & Lee were storekeepers and printers at 24 Market Square, Aylesbury from the early 1900’s. This map is in very poor condition and one sheet is missing. Nevertheless, this seems quite rare and is a map retailed by them of the local area. Sixty miles about Aylesbury.
This highly detailed map at a ‘Yard to the Mile’ scale is dominated by the massive Bethlehem or Bethlem Hospital (now the Imperial War Museum).
