This double-sided map covers Caen and the area to the south. It links up with the Ouistreham map to the north. Though not from the Bigot plans, it is from a Top Secret map, with information updated to May 1944, with similar detail.
This detailed map covers the tiny town of Ilchester. In 1901 this had a population of just 433, but it was once a major town which, in the Middle Ages, boasted 7 churches. However it was already in serious decline by the late Middle Ages and in 1542 Leland describes it as “one of the ancientest townes.yn wonderful decay”.
This detailed map covers parts of Yiewsley and West Drayton. Features include West Drayton station, St Matthew’s church, Kean’s Cottages, Grand Junction Canal, Otter Dock, gravel pits and brick fields, Hillingdon Varnish Works, Liddall’s Dock, Starveasll Bridge, Gould’s Green, Dawley Court, Hubbard’s Farm etc.
This detailed map covers an area just east of Heathrow, from Hatton village northward to Berkeley Avenue at Cranford. Features on this map include Hatton Farm, St Anthony’s Home, Dog & Partridge inn, Hatton Road Farm, River Crane, isolation hospital, Byron Avenue area. Most of the area west of the River Crane has today been covered with Heathrow infrastructure. On the reverse we include 1933 directories for East Bedfont, Hatton and Cranford.

This detailed map covers the centre of Harlington (today in Hillingdon) and extends eastward to the centre of Cranford (today in Hounslow). Features include Harlington Corner, Manor Farm, White Hart pub, Coach & Horses pub, greyhound track, The Elms etc in Harlington; Cranford House, Cranford Park, Cranford Hall, Berkeley Arms Hotel, Springfield, Queen’s Head Inn etc in Cranford. 1935 directories for both villages are included on the reverse.
With local government reorganisation in the 1960s Stanwell was transferred to Surrey; but in 1934 it was in Middlesex and so forms part of that series in The Godfrey Edition. The map covers the area from Stanwellmoor eastward to Stanwell village. Features include Stanwell Place, St Mary’s church, Longford River, cemetery, part of Staines Reservoir, Hithermoor Farm etc. On the reverse we include directories for Stanwell in 1890 and 1933.
