The map is published in Greek and English. The reverse side of each title is covered by general information about the island, illustrated with colour photos. These panels contain information on the Myths, History, Geography, Nature, Beaches and Sights of the island along with a list of 9 suggested hiking trails which are correspondingly marked on the map.
Our map sheet is 840mm by 680mm. On the reverse side is a 35k scale 1st edition El Hierro Tour & Trail Super-Durable Map by Jan Kostura. Altitude background colouring is designed to clearly show the altitude range when travelling across each island by car or on foot.
To the east lies Hegau,Burgenland and Lake Constance. Long-distance views of the vast landscape, castles and fortresses and idyllic tranquillity are what make this area so attractive. This is the source of the Danube and of course the popular Danube cycle path runs through here.
